I love the curve, and I’m glad it’s here to stay. It’s one of my favourite BBC Two ident sets. In fact, it’s my second favourite ident set from BBC Two, behind the 90s 2s.

I just want to say that this is really nice! I can absolutely forgive the channel logo splitting because the fluid motion is just so good! Love the end board for that promo too and when the blocks animate down and into the triangle iPlayer logo… just perfect. ?

Perhaps it’ll split and animate like that for trailers just not for the ident itself? Hope so. Really hope they keep all of it, including the animating icons.

I hope so too! It’s super on trend so I can’t see any reason they would change it now. Very excited to see it all play out on Wednesday!

I think it has pretty much been confirmed that what's in that GIF is not what the new look is going to look like, hence why I posted it. If you like the content of the GIF, you may be disappointed come Wednesday...

The BBC4 ident package is very nice. They are most beautiful shot of BBC idents. I hope that BBC1 gets its clue from its younger sister channels, as well as BBC2 to making new idents.

The blocks make the iPlayer logo, have continuity with the outgoing one and ensure the whole rebrand all works as intended with the blocks centre stage, so hopefully they haven't dropped them from the trailers as some of the later leaks do somewhat suggest.
