I wonder, once the BBC rebrand is done and dusted, the BBC will rebrand UKTV to a complimentary style that's a nod to the new BBC. There have be similarities in the past with centre bottom logos on trailers.

I agree that the UKTV channels will be due a re-brand soon, but can't see that happening for another year or two at least. The similarity between UKTV and BBC branding started way back in 1997 and lasted only 4 or 5 years before the UKTV channels re-branded. Their logo placements and trailers have remained different to the BBC's ever since.

I doubt it now the UKTV brands are very much individual rather than linked by an overarching brand.

Just noticed a new beta version of IPlayer on my Youview box. The blocky blue and pink background has gone replaced with a faded black and pink affair - it's heavy on pink! . Functionality wise is set out like BBC Sounds with the menu down the lefthand side.
The changes are clearly coming!

Yes, the further details of rebrand usually won't be shown until the eve of rebranding, i believe.
