The use of my mock is curious as it is very specific rather than a genuine image of the house, and while these things aren't always a clue of what will end up on air, they seem to have recreated the logo faithfully.

Fantastic news that it’s returning to the house, and that Phil Gayle will be back. I’m not the biggest fan of AJ, but she’s a very capable presenter and I’m glad they are sticking to a male/female lineup so it’s true to the old BB setup.
Initial fears that they were just using the BB name on some generic Steph show-style format to bring in viewers are definitely fading - the production team seem to be approaching this from the right angle!

We were teased with Maya Jama and got AJ Odudu. That hardly seems fair.
She is much improved on a few years back but not the strongest of choices, but could see her working well enough with Mo. Nice they've managed to Phil Gayle back as well.

Lifted Entertainment's Creative Director is Fiona Clark who cut her teeth on The Big Breakfast in its heyday so I don't think we should be too surprised if they manage to pull it off.

It's always interesting seeing the old credits and recognising a few producers who have gone on to be big names elsewhere within the industry - and for everyone who is relatively well known they'll be a few that aren't as well.

Great to see the one off will be coming from Lock Keepers Cottages. Will they allow spectators along the picket fences? Last time I walked by the house the front was so over grown and they had a huge black security gate in place.

Taken a look at ITV2's Apocalypse Wow and AJ Odudu is so much better than I remember her so hopefully it all comes together nicely. Crucially just like with Mo, who I'm liking more and more each week on Gogglebox, I can imagine her in the role.
Maya may have been a bit young to actually get it as I doubt she remembers the show first hand at all. Both Mo and AJ are 33 so probably remember the latter years more than the early years, assuming they watched at all, but I think basing the structure around the Johnny and Denise format where items had more room to breathe is probably more suited to this one off anyway than an item every 5 minutes.
Is this running just the two hours or are they giving it a third? It sounds like primetime it pretty much sorted so it'll be interesting to see how they fill the daytime hours as I don't think anything has been announced other than Countdown.

When Channel 4 first reported Black Takeover Day as it was first known it was said all shows that day would be Black presenters/staff, it mentioned Hollyoaks, Channel 4 News, Gogglebox, Countdown and the Big Breakfast so will wait to see what else C4 does.

A channel has cropped up which seems to be uploading a significant number of editions of The Crunch from 1992 onwards - not every day but so far about 100 from the first year or so of the show. Usually include the Washing Line competition as well. Here is one with Emma Forbes.

The house looks too homely for the show to come from it, I hope the current owners would let them brighten up the place for the special in September.
