I almost like the music, but it’s like it’s building up to something but never quite gets going.

I'm starting to think the Beeb quite like animation this year.

Are they any final arrangements being made as to how RTÉ's studio presentation will look for their Euros coverage from tomorrow?

Will they be broadcasting from a bigger studio provided by RTÉ Sport or will they be using a smaller setup this time to showcase the event? The big disadvantage in RTÉ's case this year is that they cannot use Studio 5 now because it's being used permanently for Prime Time.

I'm thinking that RTÉ could use the old studio for Prime Time to have their coverage sorted for the Euros provided they have the money to spend to upgrade it. But RTÉ do currently have sport studio facilities provided in Montrose already. They may be planning to do a slight update to their current Sport setups with Euro 2020 graphics in the lead up to the first game from tomorrow. But I am no mind reader here.

I will wait & see what RTÉ's setup will look like from tomorrow. It may surprise us or not but I won't have a clue what will happen until then.

Mark Lowen was on the BBC One Euros pre-launch show live from Rome. Is he not the 1st ever BBC News correspondent being featured for the Euros official coverage for the BBC?

Euro 2020 (+1) - jlmiller - 10-06-2021

Just want to say that the BBC presentation is very slick and professional and I like the look of the virtual studio - almost reminds me of an upgraded version of the current MOTD aesthetic. Titles looked fantastic but not too keen on the music. Will wait to see how ITV handle their presentation.

This is an example of the graphics on the PES 2021 game for the tournament. I'd guess the official TV ones will be very similar.

Just come across this fantastic video on YouTube which appears to show the broadcast graphics package amongst other branding elements of the tournament. Although not official, the channel does have similar, accurate videos of other brand packages (such as Nations League and Champions League) which are also quite interesting to see.

If anyone's interested in the technical side, here's how the host operation is working from Amsterdam with support from IMG and Gravity Media, plus the BBC's operation in Salford and elsewhere.

Jon post_id=17948 time= user_id=1050 Wrote:So the titles just debuted on BBC One. Liking the visuals not sure about the music.

The titles look great but the theme is forgettable which is a shame considering the ones BBC had for Euro 2012 and 2016 were really good.

Also, it seems like Match of the Day might have a new look next season considering the updated logo and typeface seen at the end of the titles

Euro 2020 (+1) - Brekkie - 11-06-2021

Only criticism of the visuals of the titles is the end board itself which seemed very busy with the programme information at the very top and very bottom of the screen, not really being on air long enough to read. Arguably don't need any of the text at all and just a slightly bigger BBC Sport/Euro 2020 logo would suffice, though clearly they want the MOTD brand in there too, which itself contains an additional BBC Sport logo.

I think I may have posted one of these before, but Derek Rae (who is back with ESPN for the Euros) has shared his prep sheet for Denmark v Finland. Get your magnifying glass out!

Great 3D backdrop of Rome in the set debuted yesterday.

Euro 2020 (+1) - TVFan - 11-06-2021

The BBC studio is very basic.

I see the NHS logo on the titles has been quietly removed in the last 24 hours.
