RE: ITV Programming Thread - XIII - 08-07-2022 I think Lygo was referring to light factual programmes that by definition is filler TV. Obviously that can do well but it's cheap telly which is well served elsewhere. Gameshows still have a place but they're mostly in daytime or the weekends rather than weekday primetime. RE: ITV Programming Thread - Dylan2001 - 09-07-2022 Will James Bond be on ITV until the autumn?. I’m a fan and I don’t mind watching it all summer RE: ITV Programming Thread - tellyblues - 09-07-2022 I would guess they will show the rest of the Connery films and then either the Brosnan or Craig ones, taking us into August. Epic Gameshow should be finished by then but who knows as the scheduling of that is just as higgledy-piggledy. RE: ITV Programming Thread - Torpido - 09-07-2022 Isn’t starting a regular tv screening of new sanditon which has already been on Brit box starting on a July Friday- 22nd - is just odd as well RE: ITV Programming Thread - Brekkie - 13-07-2022 (09-07-2022, 11:01 PM)Torpido Wrote: Isn’t starting a regular tv screening of new sanditon which has already been on Brit box starting on a July Friday- 22nd - is just odd as wellGet used to it - that is going to be the model moving forward with many shows on ITVX a few months ahead of a linear broadcast. And in other news that'll surprise nobody Romeo & Duet has been axed. https://www.digitalspy.com/tv/reality-tv/a40588780/strictly-come-dancing-oti-mabuse-romeo-duet-cancelled/ RE: ITV Programming Thread - AJB39 - 13-07-2022 (13-07-2022, 08:46 PM)Brekkie Wrote:(09-07-2022, 11:01 PM)Torpido Wrote: Isn’t starting a regular tv screening of new sanditon which has already been on Brit box starting on a July Friday- 22nd - is just odd as wellGet used to it - that is going to be the model moving forward with many shows on ITVX a few months ahead of a linear broadcast. Romeo & Duet was a stupid concept and I’m delighted it’s been axed. RE: ITV Programming Thread - tellyblues - 13-07-2022 Crap title, crap show. Dating may have been Saturday night TV once but it isn't now. Re. Bond, The Living Daylights (Timothy Dalton) will air on Sat 23rd so looks like all films will be shown up to a point. Epic Gameshow was the most watched show on Saturday with 1.8m. RE: ITV Programming Thread - Dylan2001 - 16-07-2022 Shivi Ramoutar and Martin Kemp taking over from Kate Garraway on Garraway’s good stuff. Thought they were a good pairing RE: ITV Programming Thread - Ash101 - 21-07-2022 Love Island has just come back from the break and the ITV2 DOG is now on the other side of the screen. With the #LoveIsland taking up the top left for the first few seconds. Odd as if usually appears in the bottom left. |
