I think she could do a Helen Skelton and various consumer/animal type shows or even pop up on daytime shows. It's possible she's heading into the cooking world though as she's just recently started a partnership with Lidl and has done a few other interviews and events for Waterstones and the Institute of Engineering and Technology in recent months. All of which could have contributed to her deciding to leave.

Yes, although she doesn't live in Salford and is based down South, so it might not be as appealing once they move. Regardless though, still a good opportunity for her!

Seems he was let go, although he says he was going to quit rather than move up to Salford with the show the following year anyway. Looks like he was supposed to feature on Strictly as well but was dropped at last minute, presumably as he was no longer a Blue Peter presenter. He now works in marketing for a drinks company.

Barney is on YouTube, he says he left blue Peter because he wanted a break from TV, he had been on CBBC for 15 years and had never really got anywhere from it.

It very much seems like a lottery on people getting out of childrens TV into the mainstream market, although of course many find a future outside of TV as well and their presenting dreams of their late teenage years/early 20s aren't necessary there a few years later.
