Maybe they were inspired by the BBC One schedule page (https://www.bbc.co.uk/schedules/p00fzl6p) which, naturally, is still using the Circles stylee and old logo.

When you think about it though, the modern style of endboard contains, well... a red circle. Still odd how two regions have done it though.

Surely this can only be described as a botched introduction of the new branding when there is an inability to conform in the regions, and a failure to conform persisting in key parts of the website.

What’s going on with the one show? Still using the old logo and typeface? I would have thought that would have been one of the first things to get updated?

I’m looking forward to this. I loved what they did with Wallace & Gromit including the surrounding presentation (though I can’t believe that it’s as old as 2008!), and hope they can replicate and excel from that one. I’d like to see a few different scenes and a mix of daylight and nighttime themed idents.

I think it helps Shaun the Sheep is much more familar than some of the other cartoons used as the basis for idents too. They look very promising indeed.
