Glad it’s not just me who noticed that. Her voice seemed to be breaking throughout the whole first story. Shame. I do love Mary. One of the last of the ‘old’ ITV News people.

Ha ha - I said one of. No, Bradby and Mates are both excellent journalists, too - good call.
(Though remember that Mary worked for much of the nineties at LNN, which was of course absorbed into ITN, if that counts)

Very easy to criticize. For all you know she may have something wrong with her throat. But, regardless, it doesn't diminish her role as a Newscaster or how she presents!

Echo what others have said about Mary - an excellent newscaster and probably doesn’t get the recognition she deserves. She’s been anchoring the news for well over two decades and is strong as ever and for all the changes at ITV News over the years Mary on the evening news has been a constant.

It's very interesting to read from RXTV Info yesterday that the changes in the schedule for the ITV Evening News will occur in March. Does anyone know what's involved with these new changes to the bulletin.
What does it mean for the studio itself that it shares with ITV News London. Will there be any changes to the layout of the set for both bulletins from March onwards.
