?? The #AmericanSongContest premieres on Monday 21 March on @nbc!
?? The show runs for 8 weeks with the Grand Final taking place on Monday 9 May!
?? 56 artists will compete representing all 50 states, 5 US territories, and the capital.
Apparently it will be filmed at the Universal Lot. Which leaves open many possibilities of filming locations.
- WIll it be outdoors because of COVID?
-Will they use a different or have smaller crowds at separate backlot locations to spread out the audience and also reflect locales across the country?

-Will they take over a single large studio and film it entirely there, which seems most likely.
It will not be like Eurovision in that it moves locations annually based on the winning country. Logistically that just not going to happen in the US. I cant see them shooting the show in a different state based on the winner. Would be interesting if they moved the show to one of major filming/production hubs based on the region or something. But that will never happen.

Not sure there is much need to worry about where next year's contest will be. Just getting through the 8 weeks will be a victory.

Agreed, that's a pretty decent hosting combo in my opinion. They both have experience hosting shows, particularly Kelly.
(Although Matt Lucas on Bake Off makes sense too if you consider Marjorie Dawes)

I wouldn't be too sure; to this day, I haven't seen 'dust' listed as an ingredient in a single one of their recipes...
