The one on the pier from a few years back - that had some lovely elements to it. My fave though was the one with the Symphony soundtrack - apart from a couple of dodgy idents, the whole thing worked really well and I think not being tied to a show helped.
Usually the one or two scenic, news-safe idents from the more John Lewis-y sets (2017's Vista, the pier ident) tended to work the best compared to the other ones in their package.

Loved seeing that package on TV, a simple idea executed to perfection. Felt homely and warm, similar to the rooftop lights ident from 2010.

Yes, it's quite possibly a hint towards the idents. However, I do recall the press pack from 3 or 4 years ago had its opening image taken from Call The Midwife, which was nothing to do with the ident.
We'll get to find out in another week or so!

But yeah, Aardman idents once more for the BBC this year. Two will probably use the same ones just updated with the new logo.
Would love the block animations to have a bit of a sparkle in them for the Xmas idents.
