Euro 2020 (+1) - Universal_r - 19-06-2021 Jane Douglall mentioned on BBC news that the 20 million included ITV and STV. https://mobile.twitter.com/STVNews/status/1406207050636533761 STV had an audience of about 1.938 million. So I did a litte comparison between broadcasters and it seems it was ITV fault. Here at the 3 minute mark you can see ITV and STV go down, YLE and ZDF continue without a hitch. https://streamable.com/3aigsc Also note that STV went to the emergency feed of the main camera, by the looks of it. Bit weird seeing the scorebar on the opposite side. Is that common elsewhere in Europe? Euro 2020 (+1) - Brekkie - 19-06-2021 Well 2DF clearly have all other corners of the screen occupied. Here's a picture of Sky Sport Bundesliga (taken at a weird angle in a hotel bar, sorry) with a top right scorebar. The world feed has the same style but top left. Euro 2020 (+1) - Jon - 19-06-2021 I wonder if their is some compliance reason and the channel DOG has to be top left in Germany or if it’s always just been the conventional placement of things. No. The channel bug doesn't need to be top left in Germany. It is standard for the ZDF, RTL (except RTLZWEI) and Sky channels, but, on the opposite, the main ARD and P7S1 channels (and most sport and entertainment channels) locate their DOGs on the top right corner. Sometimes, like in F1 coverage, RTL and Sky move their bugs to the top right to accomodate the world feed graphics. No, it just depends on which side the channel usually have their DOGs for the channel logo. ZDF and YLE have it on the left, so the scorebar is on the right. The other channel in Germany "Das Erste" for example have their DOG on the right, so the scorebar is on the left: ![]() (Though they do have that stupid "UEFA EURO 2020 LIVE [Name of City]" text besides their DOG) Brekkie post_id=22610 time= user_id=976 Wrote:Well 2DF clearly have all other corners of the screen occupied. The bottom two are luckily only on the VOD on their catchup service, the live pictures only have the channel DOG and the scorebar. It is equally unassasary to put these extra graphics on the VOD though. Euro 2020 (+1) - RhysJR - 19-06-2021 On about stupid/unnecessary DOGs, only the three BBC logos on the screen on iPlayer (plus the one on the desk back in the studio)
Euro 2020 (+1) - RhysJR - 19-06-2021 Don't think we'll see this come to Match of the Day next season https://twitter.com/Stroppa_Del/status/1406338135680770053 Euro 2020 (+1) - Brekkie - 19-06-2021 mici01 post_id=22576 time= user_id=1406 Wrote:And the other noteable thing as well is how they all basically have the same scorebar, but they're all actually different. Not just the positioning but the placement of the clock, using the leading 0 on some and not on others and then no team colours on the final one.Op4bridge post_id=22397 time= user_id=1510 Wrote:Steve in Pudsey post_id=22395 time= user_id=942 Wrote:ITV presentation should have the world feed available if they lose the feed from their scanner at the ground.Unless the issue is from UEFA. |
