I think the videos itself are geoblocked to outside Vietnam.

Over in France, BFMTV has quit calling its Ukraine coverage simply edition speciale after 7 days and started applying the "War in Ukraine" branding since 3 days ago (at time of this writing).

There's evidence of them covering other stories briefly (first image in second row), but the branding remains. Live programming is being extended to 1am at this time instead of 12:30am (on the first day of invasion, they even went all night).

Still very disappointed in them not able to break away from the blue color scheme.

Sometimes there's a sidebar on the right side of screen, showing live images like below or further information, bullet-point style. Though the text sometimes breaches the "safe zone" like below.

They've also made an updated intro based off of the edition speciale template, just with added Ukraine imagery...

...and even the break bumpers, advising viewers they can still follow the latest news around the invasion online.

Franceinfo's also updated intro with a split half of Putin and, for some reason, Macron's faces on each side of the screen.

On CNN, John and Brianna are doing a rare Saturday shift on New Day. CNN have made multiple mentions of the Sky News crew getting shot and showed the footage with the Sky News logo on screen.

It's effectively dumping coverage of the stock market and business community. Potential investors have lost a source of information from probably the most unbiased dispassionate news source there is. This will further isolate them economically, something losing BBC reports won't do.
Although the Russian stock market has been closed all week and I suspect coverage of Russian companies shares collapsing on other stock exchanges is heavily censored anyway. That said not sure if Bloomberg broadcast in Russia anyway or if this is them pulling their broadcasts from within Russia to the rest of the world as is the case for most broadcasters.

I believe you're talking about this, right? I believe CNN International has been using that since the graphic relaunch, but I think CNN kinda scaled back using footages from ITN in the past couple of years.
Interesting and delightfully trivial in the circumstances. Didn't realise ITN still used that look for it's sub brands - think it may even predate the current ITV News look.

I imagine the economic elite of Russia are a group more likely to have ways to get round censorship laws and know what is happening outside of Russia anyway.

Doesn't look like there are any significant changes to the scheduling or length of news bulletins on BBC1 and ITV today. Thought ITV might at least pull their late bulletin forward to 9.40pm again and extend it.

I suspect though as things become ever more difficult for reporters in the country and indeed in Moscow the opportunity to scale back for the weekend is somewhat required.

They have? Sky have it down for 9:40 till 10:10.

I’m sure they will after Putin has declared war on those issuing the fiercest of sanctions. Crazy stuff.

Crazy stuff but be a bit careful with language. He said those imposing sanctions was "almost a declaration of war", which isn't great language either but it's important in times like this to repeat things accurately as that is somewhat different to declaring war.

Simply quoting Lukwesa Burak who IMO shouldn’t be on air in the first place dealing with such a delicate story.

BBC have been very careful who they’ve put on air this week - those with years and years behind them.

I thank you Brekkie for clarification.
