Prince Philip has Died - AllWillBeWell - 09-04-2021 Full announcement on BBC Radio 4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MMzBATUhzoU Not my video Prince Philip has Died - Meridian MR - 09-04-2021 CNN International with Julia Chatterley have briefly stopped Prince Philip coverage to cover the volcano eruption. I wasn't expecting to either, it was just presented in the engaging Newsbeat style, very accessible - didn't ignore some controversies, and wasn't crowded with over-the-top flowerly language. It's a real skill, so well done to them. I also don't blame BBC network radio for sticking together as one for a few hours, there are obviously extra challenges due to the pandemic to think about. Still, the national anthem and pips (at 4pm) on Radio 1 in the same day is something quite rare! Prince Philip has Died - MrUdagawa - 09-04-2021 BBC Sounds has now switched to black branding on their station graphics which is a nice touch. Prince Philip has Died - James Martin - 09-04-2021 Are Heart & Capital running their regional shows or are they taking Leicester Square output? Prince Philip has Died - TMD_24 - 09-04-2021 Considering that ministers and shadow ministers are being pulled from their broadcast rounds for the foreseeable future, I can't see the purpose of Sophy Ridge or Andrew Marr being broadcasted on Sunday now. Mark Austin back presenting on Sky from Windsor Castle at 5pm. Prince Philip has Died - RDJ - 09-04-2021 A barely legible black still ITV ident into James Mates documentary at 5pm. It was a black logo on a black background. Prince Philip has Died - Roger Darthwell - 09-04-2021 ITV introduced the documentary on Prince Philip's life with a silent all black logo ident Prince Philip has Died - VMPhil - 09-04-2021 Very sombre ITV logo into the James Mates documentary

I note at 17:00, STV continuity/ident has come back and the tribute programme now airing has the STV DOG back. Prince Philip has Died - Josh - 09-04-2021 A short continuity link on CBBC just now highlighting that "things feel a bit different", pointing to the Newsround website and then just handing straight into the next programme. Andrew Marr was one of the first people BBC Radio had on to speak about the Duke, introduced as an author of a book rather than a BBC colleague. For the record who broke the news first? Looking back BBC News was at 12.05 (and BBC1 a couple of minutes later). ITV seemed to be about 12.07 and BBC Radio was at 12.10. Not seen the footage of it breaking on Sky News but they tweeted it at 12.06. STV incidently have just run a standard ident.
