That's on Samsung's built in iPlayer.
No! No animations and the start up screen is the old logo. But that’s probably because it’s iPlayer beta and that’s linked to your profile which you select AFTER it’s booted.

I found the new BBC Birmingham logo on Twitter, and looks like the region's name has been written in all uppercase letters (Source: twitter.com/BBCBhamPR).

I suspect that other BBC Regions and Nations name will follow the BBC Birmingham style of new logos.

They have put the logo behind someone's head on BBC Radio/Sounds promos, which obscured part of the logo, so I don't see why they couldn't have done it here.
