It could be that there's some agreement or it could be that they both got sent the same footage from a 3rd party.

I’m sure they filled with 45 minute edition of Catchphrase somewhere in the evening schedule to get them 15 minute ‘behind’ and extra 15 minute of the news, just feels odd. Particularly when you don’t know how busy the news agenda will be! A better option to be would have been doing some sort of 15 minute filler elsewhere, like they lockdown stories they did? A special small programme on Black History Month or Climate Change even. Or an I’m A Celeb: Meet the Cast slotted in at 9pm ahead of the main show or at 7/8, just using their interview tapes before going in.

It's 2 weeks away - if hey were doing a rebrand I think we'd at least have heard something. All we've heard is that they're getting a new newsroom.
