I’d love to come down to London one day just to pay homage to the wonderful old studios, could make it my little mini tour!

Sad I know but I didn't really know anyone down here and it seemed a good day to spend a day.

Will be a sad day when they demolish it - at least TVC is still running three studios. I guess to most people it's a very bland looking office tower on the south bank but it was the first studio I worked in and I still find the place magical. I know a lot of people feel the same about TVC, which I always found less magical more 1960s school.

I fondly remember both from many years ago when I would visit London, and would make the trip out to Shepherd's bush to see if I could catch a glimpse of anything, or walk around the perimiter of LWT, and glimpse through the railings around the back from the river!

Who would have thought around 16/17 years ago that ITV would be about to move all of its staff into W12 - between White City and the daytime studios at TVC. With most of the BBC's London staff now all packed in like sardines at NBH
