ITV have brought back the Anglia Knight (well sort of)! In a promo for ITV Hub, there was a knight is a very similar position on the horse.

Can we expect a rebrand or refresh on ITV due to ITVX, maybe something more 2D-ish?
The current presentation all looks a bit messy and neglected, I've never been a great fan of the current palettes

It would definitely make sense to change the trailer endboards since the current logo animation with the ITV Hub logo appearing from behind the channel logo will be obsolete. Haven't they stopped making new ITV Creates idents now? Maybe an upcoming rebrand is the reason for that.

Yeah the last one was December last year. They've just been recycling them on a weekly basis since.

Yeah, it seems we're heading for a compact monocolored (or almost so) ITV logo, à la ITV digital channels, even for the company, and it'd make sense to update everything.
They've never been consistent that, it makes more sense to make the channel behave exactly like the company, and viceversa
The graphics for ITVX look much better than the ones for the channel, anyway

Although ITV have had two sets of idents for the main channel for the digital channels, including ITV2 which ditched their initial 2013 set quite quickly, this must be the longest set of idents, so another company wide refresh, including for ITV News, alongside the launch of ITVX would be quite welcome - though for once not ditching the logo.
ITV Creates should have been heaven for members of a site like this with a new ident set every week/month but I soon tired of it. Good design is having a good design and evolving it, not changing it every week.

Indeed, even worse, the endboards for ITV3 and ITV4 have not been updated!
There needs to be a coherent rebrand, now
A company like ITV should have enough money to spend on the digital channels, to not make them look stale, like now

Y'know, I did mockup a package where I just used the 2013 idents but with the 3-color 2019 logo in-place of the 5-color one they originally used
Maybe they could do something similar to that?
(Either way, I hope they're still sticking with the logo they have)

I think it would have been far better to have had the different Creates idents all in rotation rather than one ident for every junction across a week.
It’d have allowed them to choose idents appropriate for each programme, and would have meant some of the best idents wouldn’t have fallen out of use after just a week.

Doubt it. I think there's another Bond film scheduled next week. I guess we've hit the summer schedules.
I'd say the same about BBC One but there's hardly any difference than how the last few weeks have been.
