From memory there was a lot of rain so while the men's wheelchair singles final took place on court 3 as planned, they had to move the women's to a court with a roof.

BBC2 prioritising the Reid and Hewett Doubles over the Ladies Doubles tonight too, and have pushed back Today at Wimbledon for it too.

However I’m coming to the view that the BBC might be better off cancelling Today at Wimbledon next year as it’s failed to air or aired late so many times this year. They could subsume end of day highlights and analysis into the main programme where time allows especially if Clare Balding does take over as the main presenter.

Just seen the Wimbledon world feed titles it’s as posted earlier but says world feed at the end of it, very strange I wonder which broadcaster would show it like this ?

What we will miss going forward is those pre match bits with Sue Barker where she effortlessly chats with all the ex players, just as if it was some old friends catching up over a coffee rather than a presenter doing an interview.

They can be great, but they can also sometimes forget what the point of them is. I think some of the pundits may have to raise their game with Clare next year.

Cutting to trailers is still very annoying, especially in a Kyrgios match when what happens between games can be as eventful as what happens during them

I wonder if they planned to run more but have dropped them as they’d miss Kyrgios ranting and raving
It’s not like that Commonwealth Games advert won’t be shown a million times between now and the start of the games

Forgive me as I have no idea about Wimbledon, but how are the BBC allowed to show sponsored graphics such as “Wimbledon game facts” sponsored by American Express and “Rolex check”?

The same reason they're allowed to show the hoardings at football matches or refer to the Emirates FA Cup - because they're sponsorship deals arranged by Wimbledon themselves and the Beeb don't profit from them in anyway.

It was a really well put together tribute. I’ll confess that I had a few tears in my eyes watching it. Sue will be sorely missed.
