And the World dog is back for Travel Show shorts at 12.55 BST. RE: BBC World News: October 2021 onwards - DTV - 21-06-2022 This kind of graphics mix-up happens on a semi-regular basis. The merger of the two channels will be announced ahead of time and will almost certainly involve some schedule change. Even if the international version of the merged channel involves a clock, it would obviously be a labelled one (with timezones indicated) as per the one used on the US election coverage two years ago. RE: BBC World News: October 2021 onwards - Roger Darthwell - 21-06-2022 My apologies to all I didn't realise that it was just an on air cockup RE: BBC World News: October 2021 onwards - Newsroom - 21-06-2022 (21-06-2022, 01:00 PM)DTV Wrote: This kind of graphics mix-up happens on a semi-regular basis. Very confusing for the International audience. BBC NEWS dog is back at 1pm with BST time showing. I've access to multiple feeds here in London, all showing UK time. You'd think it was easy to fix as it does on Newsday. All back to normal half way through Impact. RE: BBC World News: October 2021 onwards - harshy - 21-06-2022 Yeah well they now have Ben Thompson but Impact started with Samantha Simmonds. RE: BBC World News: October 2021 onwards - bkman1990 - 22-06-2022 The wrong colours were used in Studio C with David Eades. https://twitter.com/FlorenceWaedon/status/1539054192211410944 I presume these are the colours used for WorkLife. These would be the colour for Newsday if it lost the line with Singapore and presenting was needed from London RE: BBC World News: October 2021 onwards - deejay - 22-06-2022 Yes, Worklife didn’t return after the pandemic. Those are the Newsday colours. harshy - harshy - 22-06-2022 (22-06-2022, 04:12 AM)bkman1990 Wrote: The wrong colours were used in Studio C with David Eades. It’s a shame we don’t get to see it it’s better then boring bbc news colours. RE: BBC World News: October 2021 onwards - harshy - 24-06-2022 They just played out the very old impact headline sting it must still be on the system of templates. RE: BBC World News: October 2021 onwards - Newsroom - 24-06-2022 Wonderful to see Katy Kay pop up on BBC’s special coverage of the Supreme Court’s hideous ruling. Chyron showed US Special Correspondent, interviewed by her successor Laura Trevelyan. RE: BBC World News: October 2021 onwards - SuperSajuuk - 26-06-2022 Anyone know the name of the presenter on Newsday this evening? The subtitles didn’t give the full name, just ST and i’fe definitely not seen her before on any BBC News broadcast. From the accent, she appears to be Scottish?
