For the first time since 2015, the final episode of the show will come live from the studio (last years was done over zoom).
Just a question as well, has anyone been in the virtual audience for this - what is it like? I’ve seen a behind the scenes video on it and I’m very intrigued by it all.
I'm going to bloody miss it.

We must congratulate the staff at Television Centre in TC1, as they have done a superb job. I get the feeling Television Centre studio team, whether ITV staff or BBC Studioworks staff are excellent in maintaining the Covid-19 rules and providing a safe environment.

Can't believe it's the final show of the series already!
So next year will be the shows 20th anniversary, I assume they'll do something to mark the milestone, especially with the hope that audiences will be allowed back in the studio. I also didn't realise how close together SMTV ending and Saturday Night Takeaway starting was.

However, it’s turned out to be one of the most lovely and wholesome things of the series, and the guests seemed were surprised that they were on. So much better than last week.

Much better than last weeks surprise, at least they looked and acted shocked. Was a nice tie in with other bits of the show too. Can’t complain about that.

Yes a good start to the show. I'm like the two guests, I would have like Fleur to continue singing Sax. Will miss this show. Apart from one or two hiccups the show has done well to go out live each week.

It’s called a sting for a reason... it’s there as a musical segue.

Really not a fan of the having a performance at the beginning, whilst it was a good performance it feels like the show doesn't get the big fanfare of an intro like it used to do. I get that they can't run down the audience rostra but it always felt like an actual intro with them doing the opening monologue bit. Still, a much better surprise item that felt like the guests were worthy of it.

Wonder how that happened, because even if Mo’s wasn’t working.. you’d hope to still not hear the other 3? Presumably they weren’t faded down/up?
