I thought the DOGs on all their channels change at the beginning of each programme (and after commercials) from 'UKTV' to the channel logo?  Surely that's enough?

It'd be such a bad idea.

I don't understand why UK channels all have to carry the company name, this has worked wonderful for UKTV.
The channels carry "proper" identities; there are promos that make you understand you're watching a UKTV channel anyway.

Even if it's a Good or Bad idea in the current climate of traditional broadcasting it would not be wise to change anything.

Personally I like the brands they got. They work well.

If not changing the names back to UKTV ones then maybe tie the brands closer to each other?

Classic TVLF attempt to fix a problem that doesn’t exist. I can’t think of a single reason why it’d be better to call Dave ‘UKTV Dave’.
