I've read in a few places that with phpbb it's caused by caching and your host seems to use stackcdn for content acceleration... can you turn it off?

I manage a few websites for work and I've found host caching causes all sorts of weird problems if done too aggressively - with some caching even dynamic content which seems like asking for trouble!

Hi Lobster,

When the problem arose the first time, I thought it was a caching issue, so I turned it on. I turned the cache off last night and left things for a while so that things would return to normal, and so far it's worked without any problems.

Not logged in as anyone else thankfully but the banner at the top takes about a minute to load every time I navigate to a new page and I can't get to another page until its fully loaded.

I hope you're able to get all these issues resolved, Rob! I'd be tearing my hair out a ton with these kind of random issues. Hopefully you will be able to find a suitable replacement to phpBB (I mentioned MyBB on twitter, and I definitely recommend it over phpBB)

The site is running slowly is because cache has been turned off, so every file has to be loaded from scratch whenever you load a page.

That's correct, there's bound to be some speed issues with a site of this size. At least the site's up and working normally...

Ah right. I wasn't trying to suggest that it was a major issue. It's just that I've been having occasional issues my ISP recently, so I was just wanting to work out where the issue was.

In the last 10 minutes i've been logged in as two different people and have even been able to type as them aswell
