Sorry to dig this up so long after posting. Yes I’m wrong and happy to be proved wrong. Lucrezia did break the news of the death of Prince Philip and she also covered the London Bridge bombings.
But generally, If either Nina, Mary or Julie are in the building - it’s one of them that’ll be put on air.
Did anyone see how Charlene was this morning?

As professional as you expect and did a Piers on Liz Truss and the faliures to provide timely visa free entry into the UK for Ukrainian refuguees. The lunchtime bulletin was far too short for the circumstances though - felt even shorter than the daytime updates earlier in the week. They've extended the 10pm bulletin tonight to 25 minutes, but otherwise it's as scheduled today. BBC1 have extended the lunchtime and evening bulletins to 25 minutes with a slight tweak to the afternoon schedule to accomodate them. C4 News runs for an hour at 4.45pm.

Often think with stories such as this one point of difference the news channels could offer is an "other news" slot - half an hour or even just 15 minutes completely focused on anything but the story dominating the agenda.
Well I guess from perhaps tomorrow morning, some other news stories may start featuring whereas since the early hours of Thursday I’m not sure Sky have covered anything else - bar perhaps a very brief mention. And I suppose, whilst of course this will still be dominating the agenda in the coming days, other stories will be perhaps necessitate some coverage, so having two dedicated slots which no matter what else happens will still have a 60 minute to focus in depth on developments from Ukraine is a good call.
The Climate Show seems to have be pulled this week too, it aired Monday only iirc, and of course wasn’t on last week either. So some temporary changes it seems, probably a wise move even if just to utilise Anna Jones who did Breakfast this morning and Sky News Today earlier in the week.

It appears there are no plans to abandon CNN’s pre-rec repeats iof SOTU, Fareed and reliable which leaves a gaping hole of 3 hours in their live output, and at a time when strikes occur.

There doesn't appear to be a repeat of Reliable Sources today so only 2 hours of repeats but not ideal really. Though State Of The Union can take live updates as they have done in the past during a repeat if needed.
EDIT: The Second SOTU at Noon ET is an additional live edition rather than a repeat.
