Is that an image of The Severn Bridge in that crystal bubble globe effect thingy? If so, surely we have just an inadvertent glimpse as to what style the idents will be. A bit like BBC Four but within a circle! I daresay it actually wouldn't take too long to film idents for the nations in that style - even as a temporary measure, there must be stock film they can use of Scottish. Welsh and northern Irish landmarks.

Went back on iPlayer to grab this, it looks really nice. Only 'criticism' I have is the resizing of the text doesn't seem very smooth, but other than that it looks superb.

Wouldn’t it have looked better if it was all was centre aligned ? Just like the 1997 rebrand.

It all seems to hinge on one idea, the stretching blocks at the top, and very little else. While they work really well, and link the various channels and services together perfectly, the lack of anything else is a shame.

It’s all a bit simple.

Perhaps the new BBC idents will help, and when they start using the icons as well, but for now it’s all a bit meh.

I've always loved that ident set, one interesting detail I noticed is that they all take place within the same area and you can find little hints to idents within other idents.

Just add also available on iPlayer onto the details day and time a show is broadcast on same screen! Itv manages this fine!

Just in each junction now just too much going on unnecessary!

On the idents the BBC logo still looked so much better at the bottom of the screen why the need to stick it at the top if everything could have carried it in the original place? Still only bbc2 idents look ok but the junctions on all BBC channels with this iPlayer screen popping up after ever programe is advertised isn't needed!!!
