It's because when the tournament was shown on BT Sport, you had a mix of Fox Sports and Channel 7 coverage - lower third score straps being the obvious clue.

Yet, this season Sky Sports Cricket only seem to have shown FSC cricket coverage. Or is the new Fox Sports graphics, the 'in house' style for the competition, irrespective of broadcaster?

I might be remembering this wrong, but I think Fox always had all matches of the Big Bash, with selected games also on 7. I think BT preferred to take Channel 7's coverage where available because they took ad breaks while Fox was always commercial-free so you'd have to crowbar the breaks in a bit less elegantly. Looks like Sky is just taking a different approach (though I think it might also be that Cricket Australia uses Fox as its world feed and it's a bit more work to get 7 pictures).

Clive Tyldesley was the regular commentator, and he talks about it in his book saying that his co-commentator Brian Smith was the best he ever worked with in terms of the amount of time and effort he put into his work, and in terms of getting Clive access to all the relevant teams and players for research purpose.
