The Cube for Soccer Aid airs on 28th August, 8.30pm - 9.50pm.

Another episode of It’s Clarkson on TV has also shown up on 29th August, 10pm - 10.35pm.

Clarkson sure does a lot of Televisioning. Wink

Ian Wright’s Moneyball has had filming rescheduled for September, after it was delayed from April due to a set malfunction. That means it’ll probably air around November this year.

How do Love Island contestants know when it’s their birthday? I’ve always wondered that

I don't think it's quite as "authoritarian" as Big Brother or even I'm a Celeb with the watch covering and I think it has more structured elements like Towie et al - ie producer interference, so even if they lose track of days the producers would remind them. So for example we do know they leave the villa for the best part of the day a week (hence no Saturday episode) and they were allowed to watch England in the Euros final too I think so I think they speak to the producers a lot more than the classic reality shows

And they have mobiles.

I don’t think they’re that stupid

But yeah, mobile phones I can imagine. Not sure you can programme them to not show the date/time? I do wonder how they work from a technical point of view, clearly no internet access for outside stuff etc. But there has been moments where you see cast members send each other messages?

ITV Programming Thread - Brekkie - 20-08-2021

I think even if you were on a desert island or in solitary confinement for a year you'd work out when your birthday was. Six weeks in a villa isn't exactly going to be tricky.

Has the current series of Rolling in it showing now on ITV been sat on the shelf for quite a while and is now being burned off like that Take Off with Brad and Holly on the Beeb recently?

The reason I ask is one of tonight's contestants was talking about (I think he had a crush) on ITV Wales weather presenter Ruth.
He referred to her a "Ruth Wignall" but I thought she has been known on screen as "Ruth Dodsworth" for quite a while now.

I'm not even from the ITV Wales region (as you all know well on this forum) but even my ears pricked up when he referred to the Welsh weather presenter under the wrong name.

I’m pretty sure it was filmed around April time. The first series was on the shelf for 15 months but ended up being a surprise hit.

ITV Programming Thread - Brekkie - 21-08-2021

If I had to name her I'd be saying Ruth Wignall as well - don't think it's uncommon at all for a change in surname to take quite some time to register, whether that's someone you know or someone off TV.

A Family Fortunes compilation will air on 5th September at 7.30pm. I wonder whether this will contain clips of the older series as well as the current incarnation.

ITV Programming Thread - Brekkie - 26-08-2021

Quite surprised Stephen is airing over 3 weeks rather than 3 nights given ITV's recent strategy and the subject matter.

Mainly shows building up to Soccer Aid next week, including a Celeb cycling show on Sunday which unless I'm mistaken means they've got through all the Harry Potter films then don't seem to be showing the last one.

ITV Programming Thread - Sweetcorn - 26-08-2021

Is this the first time such lead up with dedicated shows like the cube, tipping point etc etc to the main soccer aid event has been tried?
Is this itv trying to make soccer aid big yearly event tv ?

If it works shame they stopped text Santa event in December as a week of dedicated shows like soccer aid getting would create more impact for the text Santa night

Why does Emmerdale have a film look?
