Already lots of calls on Twitter for Channel 4 to bring it back permanently, and I couldn't agree more. Absolutely loving it, the hosts are perfect and it's such a tonic compared to the rolling serious news you get elsewhere.

The logo on the most recent break bumper was blue instead of pink.
I'm finding it slightly surreal how they've obviously based the bumper on the mock I made of the house which they've been using in the lead up to this. The sky is practically identical (in fact it might be the same).

Half way through and appropriately enough we've a mini revamp with the logo turning from pink to yellow (via blue appropriately enough). Just waiting now for them to change the french windows and bring in a new host.

The script was always the weakest bit but it's harder to deviate from it when using autocue.
I think Phil is at the house which is why the green screen is a bit ropey.

I watched an episode from the Johnny and Denise era a few months back and thought it had aged remarkably well. In my view, today proves that the format still very much works.
