Minor issue that I don't think was picked up at the time
Quest is showing Eurosport's highlights of the Giro d'Italia with the occasional tweak for the Quest audience but otherwise the same programme.
On Tuesday they failed to put out highlights of stage 4 and instead repeated the highlights of the opening stage. They spotted it and put out that day's programme at midnight instead, and then the presenter apologised at the start of Wednesday's stage 5 programme.

(The FA, usually very co-operative with BBC Television, didn't allow it as there were other games taking place that afternoon. Despite some last-minute begging and pleading from the BBC to show the last half-hour with no advance publicity, pointing out they could rig it up in secret as their OB department was based at Wembley anyway, the FA wouldn't budge)
Looking back through the fixtures though, it seems the 5.15 kick-off came about in 2012 when the final was held before the end of the season so as to leave a suitable gap before the Euros, and I guess they wanted a unique kick-off time for the match.
(Someone once told me the real reason for the later kick-off time is that 'they built the stadium the wrong way round', and on a sunny May day you get a big shadow across the pitch if you kick off at 3. The 2009 final is a good example of this, though the person who told me is a vision engineer who might have once racked the cameras there, so you may want to take it with a pinch of salt)

I know this is about TV Presentation and TV rights but anyone that watches football go to BBC NI and watch the Larne v Crusaders Irish Cup Semi Final which went to penalties and the Crusaders goalkeeper Jonny Tuffey was sent off for overstepping his goal line and captain had to take over for the rest of the shootout, needless to say Larne went through. The maddest shootout and finish to a football match I have seen in a long time

I assume the U20 Championship will also be included as per RTE/Virgin rights in Ireland, after the last match on BBC Two the England Women said they wanted more games on the BBC so looks like exposure for that has won the day for BBC/ITV

The idea of lumping them all together was always going to limit offers and IMO bad for rugby considering the exposure the plurality of coverage gives them now

Confirmed tonight that eir Sport is to close “later this year”, probably once the Pro14 Rainbow Cup and GAA League seasons finish in June. Possibly they’ll stay to do Wimbledon and Rolland Garros, but that will be about it. One further season of their GAA League contract remains in 2022 and it’ll be interesting to see what happens to that. The end, then, for the original Setanta Sports channel, though Setanta’s legacy will continue to live on through Premier Sports.

Wonder if Wimbledon/Roland Garros will go back to TG4 or if they will leave Wimbledon because it now clashes with the Tour de France or if most of these rights will be picked up by Premier Sports bar the Pro16 which might go to RTE to go alongside picking up the 6 Nations rights with Virgin.

Wimbledon probably won’t be top of any broadcasters priority list. Virtually everyone who wants to see it can do so on the BBC. Rolland Garros likewise can be found on Eurosport (and ITV4).
The Pro16…who knows what is really happening, the latest reports suggest a Premier Sports/PSB coalition mix, kind of similar to 2014-18 but with Premier Sports in the Sky role. eir were done with it anyway, and the FA Cup rights were up too and that will all be on BBC/ITV next year anyway - suspect VM might put in a bid for the ITV side of that contact, if they haven’t done so already.
The Allianz League is the big one, but all the GAA rights are up for tender now anyway, eir’s coverage of next years league campaign would have been the last act of the present contract with the new contract starting mid-season with the Championship (yes I know, odd set up) but it may just be a question of the league element starting a season early.
