I don't disagree that different bulletins can have different formats and that viewers can pick up on these (unconsciously or otherwise). For instance, I reckon a viewer recognises that BBC News at Ten is more prestigious and in depth than the lunchtime edition. But I don't reckon that there's a need to plop a 'Late News' name on top of things for the sake of it. I think people take in the overall network more than they do any particular strand.

There's a lot of worrying here about what bulletins and programmes are called, but I don't feel like most people in their living rooms really register it.

The title is not new - first used in February 2017 because the NaT moved to 2230 and The Nightly Show was at 10 for eight weeks. And there was a normal ITV News DOG during the headline sequence too.

Even the bulletin began earlier at 10pm on 22 March 2017 due to the attack in Westminster, they still used the ITV News at (half past) Ten title.

So I guess they just mistakenly used another existing title.

I kind of hope this does set a precedent - I've seen the NAT titles on a bulletin that started at 11, which was quite ridiculous.

I Know they aren't new, but they can't accidentally use the wrong titles... besides i already said they used the Normal watermark during the headlines, and you repeated it lmao
