I'm guessing with the fifth round being midweek if there are six picks again (out of 8) there could be matches on both the BBC and ITV on the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

I looked at the app this morning and shows matches on Virgin Media One but not RTE2 - here is what is listed for VM1
Round 2
France v Ireland
Italy v England
Round 3
Scotland v France
Ireland v Italy

So I assume on RTE2
Round 2
Wales v Scotland
Round 3
England v Wales

3 Ireland matches on VM1 and 2 on RTE2 by the looks of it and not Ireland away on one broadcaster and home on the other as both have home games.

Slight rebrand of the cricket graphics to celebrate Jane McGrath Day at the pink test in Sydney (raising awareness and fundraise for breast cancer). Seven and BT Sport's pink elements of their graphics (and BT's pink microphone) have been pink all test with Fox's pink tinge being added for today only. Think Fox's graphics are the ones that have been adapted the best.

BBC's Final Score showing goals and action from all of today's 15:00 kick-offs due to a lack of formal blackout.Basically a more similar show to the FA Cup Final Scores of previous years.

BT Sport Score have been covering the FA Cup games too, but without the benefit of being able to show them. They've stayed on air for the matches that went to extra time plus QPR's penalty competition (which of course the BBC are able to show).

Convenient for all concerned that both Hull vs Everton and Swansea vs Southampton have gone to extra time, it would have been a bit awkward for BBC Wales if one had but not the other.
All academic now, but I assume Plan B was that if Hull vs Everton had gone to extra time and Swansea vs Southampton hadn't, BBC Wales would have joined Hull vs Everton in progress, and if it was vice versa, Swansea vs Southampton would have moved to BBC2 Wales. But no problem now, unless we get a never-ending penalty shootout in one of them.

Well BBC Wales would just have dropped Pointless surely. All academic now. Interestingly Network have optimistically squeezed in a 25 minute edition of Catchpoint at 8.05pm, whilst BBC Wales just have the FA Cup through to 8.30pm scheduled.
Looks like all the cup games have gone ahead though which helps with the fixture backlog.

Not the first thing I'd think of on a Saturday night, but it fills time.

Nigel Slater was supposed to be on BBC One Wales between the rugby and news at 17:10, but due to the rugby overunning because of a serious injury it was dropped I believe. Think BBC Two Wales still uses Coast to fill time, there was a bonus 30 minute edition at 23:00 last Monday with Wales opting out of network from 21:00 to 23:30.
For the record, BBC One network continued with the football until 20:30, with plenty of interviews and highlights of Chelsea v. Chesterfield filling the extended post-match.

Seema Jaswal has been ITV's number 2 since last year and did the first couple of rounds of the FA Cup, so she must be double booked this weekend.
I guess this also might be the first weekend in quite a long while (possibly since Sky first had cup rights themselves) during the season where FTA broadcasters have more English club matches on their channels than there are on subscription channels.
P.S. Any news on if they're shifting the dates for the first couple of rounds next season. Presumably neither the BBC or ITV will want to be having to cover a second round FA Cup fixture during the World Cup.

Don't think the darts is her main focus as she only appears on the Worlds (maybe Matchplay and Premier League too) hence Emma Paton doing the final this year as she covered all Sky Sports tournaments rather than Woods but I would say talksport breakfast is her main focus.
As you said however things very different now as you used to have presenters/pundits exclusive to one channel. You have Seb Hutchinson this month working for BBC Radio 5 Live, ITV Sport & Sky Sports on Premier League, FA Cup & WSL, even in Cricket you have Ebony Rainford-Brent work across BBC TV & Radio then Sky Sports at Tests, ODI & T20. In darts Nigel Pearson had to give up ITV Sport back in 2008 as Sky signed him exclusively but now you have Stuart Pyke, Dan Dawson, Mark Webster working across various UK broadcasters
