There's only three Scottish Premiership games today anyway, and Sportsound on Radio Scotland is still on.

Got to agree these graphics are not looking as nice on second viewing, the font especially (and italics...). Channel 4 did the same as RTÉ in using their own graphics outside of the match.. The pink-peach colours of the Autumn Nations Series was used as the secondary colour on the C4 graphics and it didn't look that great tbh.
Interestingly France v. South Africa women on France 2 earlier used last year's Autumn Nations Cup graphics during the match itself, but used their own graphics in the build up etc. I presume that's not centrally contracted as well so a little odd. France 2 doing the same as C4 and RTÉ by using their own graphics during half-time of the men's match.
EDIT: Forgot to say that it appears Amazon's full match replays are only avaialble to catch up for seven days with both of last week's matches seemingly vanished from the site. Got to say that's rather disappointing with most catch ups (including Prime's football IIRC) available for a month at least, and that includes S4C's highlights from last week that is avaialble for another 27 days.

So ITV Sport’s new football graphics have been launched and can be seen on the ITV Football Twitter page.
I think the package is a bit meh, the scorebar is probably the nicest thing about it.

Of course there probably isn't much demand to view things too much later but with no option to record the content yourself you'd think they'd at least make it available through to the end of the series.
Re: ITV Football - presumably if they've had new graphics they'll be on there. As they're using Ian Wright in their promo I guess he's switched to them for the FA Cup having previously done live games, along with MOTD, for the BBC.

Have ITV advertised their FA Cup coverage much. BBC seem to have been pushing it quite heavily over the last couple of weeks, but can't say I've spotted any ads on the ITV channels themselves, though admitedly not been watching them much and when I do it's usually recorded and skipping the ads.

Yes looks like Ian Wright is just on BBC for MOTD and will do all his live games now on ITV with FA Cup and England Internationals (Both male & female) You get very few exclusive pundits now for UK Sports Broadcasting now nearly most pundits appears on a number of outlets. Trying to think if anyone can beat Ally McCoist who this year will have appeared on Sky Sports, BT Sport, ITV Sport, talksport and presume he will be involved with Amazon and Premier Sports later this season.

In use from 2008 when ITV and Setanta won the rights from BBC and Sky for FA Cup and England Internationals, only some small changes at the end when flying into Wembley with change of managers and players.

The streaming-only coverage is one (of several) reasons I'm taking far less of an interest in the autumn series this year than previously, and I get that social meeja isn't the best place to see reasoned-discssion of such things, but yes.. there does seem to be more "noise" about streaming problems than in the past. Presumably the 6N committee who signed the deal, are willing to accept technical issues if the money's right.

I'd agree they've got some big-names presenting and are giving it the hours, but it's nothing (IMO) that any other big-name broadcaster wouldn't have done. Sky went to town for the Lions and gave it similar treatment, after all - and I don't recall any similar tech issues there.
As is probably evident - I'm not a fan of streaming-only for live events, and the AI's aren't doing anything to convince me otherwise.

My fibre is usually pretty decent but it managed to cut out three times during the Wales match last night, which meant a couple of minutes drop out on each occassion, which was annoying to say the least. I could via 4G watch live on my phone during these periods and Amazon picked up automatically from where it left off when the broadbane reconnected, but it just feels like these aren't the sort of things you generally need to worry about during a linear broadcast.

In response to an earlier post regarding few exclusive pundits for UK sports broadcasting, during the domestic football season, Gary Neville (Sky) and Rio Ferdinand (BT) are examples of pundits tied solely to one broadcaster, but come the summer tournaments, they are enlisted by ITV and BBC respectively.
In cricket however, guys like Nasser Hussain, Michael Atherton, Ian Ward and Rob Key are solely Sky.

BBC Two's coverage of England v. New Zealand also using the same graphics. As it's the BBC though, the BBC Sport logo has to shoehorned awkwardly onto the scoreboard...

It should look just as good as regular HD broadcast TV. (Issues with buffering aside.)
Interlacing isn’t really used in streaming, anything that is 50i needs to be converted to 50p to maintain the temporal resolution. The rugby yesterday looked like a typical 1080i50 production that was then streamed at 1080p50.
I’m guessing the V6 box only offers / supports 1080p25. Amazon’s early sports streaming was limited to 1080p25 (or 1080p30 for some US based events) and it looked awful, but it’s been available in 1080p50 for quite a while now. (Along with some events in UHD HDR.) It should look just the same as if the match was broadcast rather streamed.
There are lots of devices - I think including the basic Amazon sticks - that offer 1080p50 streaming, so probably best to watch via of one those. Quite a few of the apps on TVs support it too.
The amount of services offering 50p/60p streaming is reasonably good now, even if some of them make you pay extra for it.

There is certainly an issue with Virgin's Amazon Prime sports output (on the V6 box I have). I haven't the expertise to say what it is, but it looks as if some sort of unnecessary standards conversion is going on. I also checked yesterday on the Sky Q box, and my LG TV, and both were fine without the same issues, both looking as good on the rugby as a broadcast stream.

Channel 4’s F1 coverage for the last couple of rounds seems a bit odd. Steve Jones hasn’t appeared with Lee McKenzie hosting last week and Alex Jaques listed as lead presenter this week. Wraparound coverage has been much shorter too. I thought the original deal with Sky meant something like 40% must not be race coverage so that must have been relaxed.
Unless it’s always been like that for these races from the America’s and I’ve never noticed.
