Know not to everyone's taste but these itv creates idents for the past years been the most unique looking idents itv has ever had.
Allowing the kids create in lockdowns was also great idea.
Having new idents play out monthly now is like ITV's own yearly calendar and stops the channel looking stale like mmmm bbc one etc.
Just wish !!!! ITV's other channels fitted in with main channel more ITV2 has same look ages and itv 3 and 4 going way back to when new logo was launched!
Must be some of the artists work that itv could ask them to adapt for the other channels. Actually preferred the red itv 2 logo than the new colour.
Actually consider as streaming taking over is there any need for the numbers now ...itv 3 perfect for itv gold name replace the 3 etc .

As for the "names", there's no sense on them ,other than them being initially inspired by BBC.
Really,especially after ITV Be.
They could go for something like "ITV Max" for ITV4, and something "ITV Drama/Gold" (?) for ITV3.
ITV2 could remain ITV , which is not that strange if you consider RTL does the same: a RTL2 channel, but more genre-based name for the other RTL channels

Nothing wrong with ITV2/3/4. People know what they stand for and it gives them enough flexibility to use for other things when required.

I'm assuming they went for ITV Encore and ITV Be because ITV5 and ITV6 sounds a bit rediculous (btw, I've heard about there being an ITV7 - is that a thing?).
The trouble with naming the channels is their programming is too broad.
ITV2 is, yes, aimed at young people but also reruns some main channel shows - like Supermarket Sweep and You've Been Framed.
ITV3 is mainly dramas, but also programmes like the highly dramatic It'll Be Alright on the Night and An Audience With.
ITV4 is basically everything and where they dump the sport that isn't horse racing or major football.
Either way, they each have very strong brands anyway.

Yep, they do sound indeed ridiculous
I'm not saying they should go with the names I proposed, but I think that aside from ITV2, which I'm OK with it being left untouched, ITV3 and ITV4 might get a name change, including frankly needed graphic change (not so much the idents, but the rest)
They currently have strong brands, but nothing unfixable.. people will get used to hypothetical new names

ITV7 is something to do with a horse racing promotion or competition thing isn't it?

Think loosing the number on channels like sky is doing with sky one does give more impact on streaming service.
The numbers ok if Freeview and channel hopping but the future landscape is more streaming so build up change now try out new things before it's too late.
I'd much rather have itv gold name to highlight ITV's past hits than itv3
If looked at itv gold would know what to expect etc .
The days of TV channels especially low audience ones are fading streaming is the future.
I'd change itv be to itv lifestyle actually wish they would bring back itv news channel as well.
Just want new look for itv 2,3,4 that fits with main channels look now even if the numbers remain new idents and end boards be welcome ?
