FYI NBCLX is not operated by the NBCU News Division. Instead, it is operated by the NBCU Owned and Operated Station Group. The O&O group also operates NECN (New England Cable News), Cozi TV, and the 11 NBC O&O stations.
IMO the "news channels" the O&O group operates (NECN and NBCLX) are super under-resourced and neglected, for example, on NECN there is only 1 hour of live news on weekends with the rest are repeats of previous newscasts or filler shows from NBCLX. The newscasts on NBCLX are mostly lifestyle information and "fluff" intended for their "young audience" and does not cover hard news at all.

Didn't 525 used to be the Sky channel number for the ITN/ITV News Channel? I'm sure that rings a bell for me. I'm going to check out this channel later as I enjoy watching US news and it will be nice to have an alternative to CNN.

I very much doubt Comcast are going to stump up the cash for that!! I doubt, outside of hardcore viewers, there is much appetite for rolling US news here!

It would also be SD only - RT HD was on COM7, which is due to close soon. I don't think RT will be replaced.

Currently watching ‘Early Today’ on NBC News Now. Is there anywhere I can watch the main Today show live? I’m guessing it is not broadcast on News Now?
