I'd forgotten about that. It was BBC Radio Cornwall presenter James Churchfield. He got pinged during the 1st hour of his show, so he was replaced during a TOTH news update.

Peter Woods almost didn't make it through a bulletin in 1976. Viewers complained that he was drunk, but it was blamed on being due to some medication.

There are a few examples of radio presenters throwing up during the news, including when Thomaz Shafanacker had to leave half way through his Radio 4 early morning bulletin to throw up

Apparently during Breakfast this morning, the Wales Today presenter fell ill and weather presenter Sabrina Lee had to present some of the latter bulletins. A back-up pre-recorded weather bulletin was played at the end of the bulletin rather than Sabrina doing a live bulletin.
