I noticed on the credits to RuPaul's Drag Race UK that companies get a mention as props. Is this the first for the BBC or were the international credits played out by mistake?

Why would it be a mistake? Companies are listed in credits all the time. Also most of the credits listed there are companies, not just Props.
Yup, common one are OB companies getting credits in various live shows, Springwatch etc has been Cloudbass for years now
I've never seen the BBC have named companies on props - for FX and post production and facilities yes, but is this not on the fine line of product placement as the logos on the sewing machines was also quite prominent.
