Figured I'd start a Saturday Mash-Up thread
Saturday Mash-Up is returning tomorrow after a 4-week break, the fact that is it moving to HQ4 I wonder if that means they'll bring back a live audience like they did pre-COVID? New games will be featured this time around.

Good to see the return of the programme and hopefully it continues to be a success. Considering it started out in HQ7 (1,614 sq ft), before utilising HQ3 (4,757 sq ft) for the past couple of series, it’s nice to see that it’s moving to a larger studio in HQ4 (6,275 sq ft), a similar sized studio to the old TVC Studio 6 that was used by Live & Kicking from 1997 and subsequent Saturday morning programmes until Dick & Dom in da bungalow ended in 2006.
I felt the they didn’t utilise all of the space in HQ3, as seen on Scooting Stars, but that could be that they predominantly used the set that was designed for HQ7 and added to it. Hopefully the new set will have been designed for the larger studio.
Can’t wait to see the new set. Does anyone know why mash up stoped airing on bbc 2?

No idea why, they could've kept the timeslot on BBC Two considering before 9am they still show CBBC programming
I'll be honest I'll be looking forward to the new set, I'd like to see how it will be utilised with the games, and where the audience will be, are they going to go for how it was pre-COVID or will they go for a Friday Download-esque stage
Pleasantly surprised this is still plodding along. I don’t think it’s set the world alight, but it’s at least shown there was a gap for a live entertainment show aimed at kids in the old traditional Saturday morning slot.

It's definitely the best effort the BBC has made in recent memory, I'd say since Joe and Harpz joined it's improved a lot in the short space of time they've been on.

Considering the job details say from November 2021 to March 2022, I doubt it.

Interesting how they're moving considering that they had just moved to a different studio a couple of weeks back. The last time a BBC Saturday morning show was recorded in Glasgow was at least The Saturday Show in 2005
Joe Tasker has not mentioned if he is leaving the show, I doubt it, as he and his other YouTube friend Adam Beales work a lot for CBBC, with Adam as Blue Peter presenter.

Joe also does the CBBC HQ links and Harpz does Asian Network breakfast 5 times a week, wouldn’t be totally out of the question to see them leave, especially as previous presenters Yasmin and Johnny only did 30 episodes, these two have done many more.
Joe has been fairly successful on Mash-Up - his YouTube followers certainly like it. Joe lives in London now, he bought a brand new house at the start of 2021, and he commutes by train up to Salford and stays in a hotel for the work days he is there for CBBC.
