Shall we just go the full hog , "you are the weakest property, goodbye".
Maybe they want to Escape to the Country.

Put their own Home Under The Hammer while going for a Bargain Hunt? Big Grin
Or they could sell it on Dickinson's Real Deal & make a tiny profit? Big Grin
It’s a pretty common thing to do as highlighted. But it’s August, news is slow and Tw*tter need a story.

Bit rich of Crossroads saying the same will happen. Heck even ATV really didn’t want Crossroads let alone Central. Just ironic Elstree being an old ATV site!

Of course nothing newsworthy ever happens on the whole of planet Earth during the month of August, just because it's the school holidays in England (which is the centre of the universe, obviously).

The whole Taliban takeover of Afghanistan thing (for example) must have just been a crazy daydream of mine... ?

Or... The whole "August = Silly Season" thing is a tabloid newspaper invention, rather than anything demonstrably true in reality.

You decide... ?

Twitter can be summed up thus, making it the modern version of Disgusted of Tunbridge Wells:

In BBC Elstree Centre news, the new series of Never Mind the Buzzcocks was filmed in Studio D making use of the audience seating too. Will be interesting to see if it appears on camera.
