Must have been a very frightening experience for those working at Television Centre today.
Nobody told The Independent, it's no longer "the BBC's Television Centre"

And if they were attempting to get on air, it'd be ITV they'd be appearing on
Reminiscent of the attempted storming of CNN Center in Atlanta last year. Protesters now seem to gravitate toward media buildings in an attempt to make their point.

Neither are the Daily Mail, based on quickly looking at their website's current front page. It wouldn't surprise me if many of those protesting also didn't have the knowledge/intelligence to realise that these days the BBC's presence there is mainly it's commercial arm, and that they'd be more likely to disrupt ITV programming. I imagine the current BBC News studios/area are at Broadcasting House is more difficult for any protestors to get into, compared to when they were based at TVC (especially after some pranksters gained access the other year).

Maybe it's actually an 'anti-X Factor axe' protest, not 'anti-vax'...? Big Grin

Well these people are clearly of such intelligence they waited for ITV to end their 7 and a half hours of live broadcasting from the site.

Absolute morons.

If these people had been a couple of hours earlier, they could have joined Eamonn on This Morning.

Eamonn already has experience of rioting in that building...

Tomorrow, they're storming the TVS archive...

Gutted to hear this, respect to those at TVC today
BBC Broadcasting House in Portland Place is the HQ of the BBC now, and it is the news HQ of the BBC - anyone could have found this out online by searching on Google.

Maybe they just weren't aware that Loose Women can't accept a studio audience these days... Wink
Even if News was still there, turning up at Stage Door rather than the Stage VI entrance pretty much guarantees they would just get lost wandering around the corridors of the donut looking for N6
Plenty of donuts at TVC today at seems.
