Not TV related but long running BBC Radio 4 parlour game Just A Minute have announced that Sue Perkins will take over as permanent host come the new series starting in September 2021 after a series of guest presenters including Sue were used on the last series earlier this year. Follows the same pattern as I'm Sorry I haven't a Clue which followed a Guest Presenter series before Jack Dee took over.

Sounds like a good decision. I was in the virtual audience for two recordings (back to back sessions) and Sue chaired one and was in the panel for the other. I think Stephen Fry chaired the other. They both did a good job and Sue will be a great host.

Also the same as The News Quiz did last year before plumping for Andy Zaltzman. Both good choices
Sue's a good fit for Just a Minute not least because she has experience chairing panel shows both on TV and radio. I'd assumed that Gyles Brandreth would have been the successors but thankfully they went for Sue
I agree she was very good guest-hosting last year
I presume this is the end of her other Monday night show "Nature Table"

No, she has said on Twitter that they're recording another series.
I think that's a pretty good shout. Of the guest hosts they had last series I think Sue was probably the one who seemed most at home and was able to add some personality without deviating (see what I did there?) too much from the spirit of how Nicholas chaired it.
