I know the Albert+ scheme has been around for a while, but I noticed on the end credits of a repeat of Lewis on ITV3 that the last credit said "The certified offset carbon footprint for Lewis is 830 tonnes".

Has this been seen on other shows or do they just need to use the logo?

Also, who is Albert?

They've been around for 10 years now, and the production companies are entitled to use the logo in the credits of shows if they get certification for carbon emission reduction. The whole scheme is voluntary, they don't need to state the exact number. Lewis's producers were just bragging!

Always used to think a bunch of programmes were suddenly being co-produced by a company called Albert & Sustainable.
