As I wrote on my other post, very sad to see this. Beyond 100 Days with Katty and Christian had chemistry that we hadn't seen on the BBC for a long time...
So is Ozy a streaming service? Seems to use the tagline "a modern media company".
Very sad to see this, I loved watching 100 Days over that period. Since they moved it from 7pm to 9pm though, I've not been able to catch it much....
Man I'm gonna miss the Katty and Christian duo so much... I've been a big fan of Beyond 100 Days/9PM bulletin and really loved their chemistry.

Most people have said the same thing. I agree. Will be interesting to see if Beyond continues with another presenter (however it wont be the same) and also to follow Katty as she has mentioned she will be presenting a US Politics show on Ozy, which will be available to us UK folk. Big Grin
Another abundance of talent lost from the BBC. Pure speculation of course, but one has to wonder whether this was her decision or if she was part of Unsworth's 'grim reaping'.

Whatever the reason, I'll miss Katty Kay hugely.
Huge loss to the BBC. Every time I listened to news focused on America here in the UK (ie Beyond 100 Days, election day stuff etc), it was always Katty who I heard and she made the broadcasts so amazing with her knowledge of local issues, something that presenters in the UK may not always have if they haven't followed the US in detail.

I suspect that even if another US anchor is found to take over Katty on the BBC News bulletin at 9pm with Christian, it won't be the same kind of chemistry. She even had it with James Reynolds when he did occasional presenting in London, real real shame. Will very much miss her presence and tones on the BBC. Sad
When Katty Met Carlos, she left the BBC and joined Carlos at Ozy...

(my poor attempt at a pun there)

We need a 'When Katty met Christian' Big Grin
I am so upset about this. I love Katty Kay. I hope she continues to appear on MSNBC. I assume Laura Trevalyn will be her heir apparent.
On Morning Joe yesterday they announced her new job and said she will continue to appear on their show as usual.
Just how much top talent is Ms Unsworth is prepared to lose? Its starting to get very thin now and confidence is through the floor.

Thank god!
I can't believe this news. I am going to miss the chemistry so much between Katty & Christian on the BBC now. Katty was a really good journalist & presenter on Beyond 100 Days. I will also say this while she was on with Clive Myrie on Beyond 100 Days when Christian was off duty during the programme. I'll bet Clive will miss her a lot now that she is gone to her new job with Ozy. I've actually never heard of Ozy as a streaming service before. I assume this service is more focused on news stories for audiences who are based in the US.

I wish Katty the best of luck. She will be missed a lot by people on here.
