The film is great and gets better every time you watch it. JUST SACK PAT became a running joke with friends for a while.
This Time was okay. It did have one standout moment, Ye Black and Tans, which everyone was talking about.

Where the 'This Time...' programme studio scenes were recorded have moved from series 1 to 2.
Last series was recorded at Wimbledon Studios. This series to Studio 2 at Maidstone Studios.

So far episode 1 of the new series is very funny, feels a more comfortable experience now that Alan is established as host.
I think I spotted the Oasthouse in the titles too.

I thought the first half of it was quite weak. But the ending was really strong.

Much improved. I thought that was so much better than the entirety of series 1.

I loved it, plenty of laughs from start to finish!

I recognise the theme tune Alan mentions in tonight's episode - where is that from? Does anyone know? I'm sure I recognise it from elsewhere!

I’m a huge Alan fan but I’ve never got this show at all. I’m surprised he got a second series. I didn’t find anything funny tonight at all. Interesting they state it’s from Broadcasting House when, I think, it’s Maidstone Studios too.

In the show's fictional reality, BH has full size, full height studios inside, and underneath.

And, presumably to keep that pretence up that's its BH - uncredited as the studio facility in the end credits. Whereas special effects providers and the software company that Simons screen runs on, were.

Amazed to hear a huge Alan fan say he found absolutely nothing funny at all because there were some brilliant Partridge moments/lines last night. I can only guess you prefer the broader humour of much earlier Partridge.

Not a surprise if you watched the first episode of the first series where with a couple of clever bits of filning/editing Alan and a guest walked out the studio, down some corridors in Old BH and into one of the lifts in New BH where they talked to Emily Maitlis.
That and the fact they feature it in the opening titles.
I think the first series was filmed elsewhere, possibly Wimbledon Studios?
Incidently it's not the first time Maidstone has acted as another studio centre, it was Granada Studios for the live Inside Number 9
