Good spot. I wonder if it was just edited by someone who is used to doing the trails for HBO-derived content (HBO seem to insist on it for whatever reason).
That's not even the correct copyright is it? ITV does own it, but it's made by a subsidiary called Potato.

Potato is part of ITV Studios. Ultimately ITV Studios own and sell the format so the copyright is correct. It would be the same with any show made by any of the ITV owned labels.
It's getting to the point where it might as well be ITV Challenge anyway - although of course even with the classic shows it's been very much dominated by ITV formats anyway.

Unless I'm mistaken, Pointless and Pointless Celebs are the only completely non-ITV shows they're currently airing (Lily Savage's Blankety Blank started out on the Beeb before moving to ITV, of course).
Is the Sky VIP sponsorship completely a thing of the past now (with Mr Green during the night and Spam the rest of the time)?

They had the Challenge version of Blockbusters with Simon Mayo on last weekend but do get your point, it is all ITV shows at the minute and the sad thing is all the older stuff like Wheel of Fortune, Strike it Lucky, Blockbusters, Play Your Cards Right etc are all on daytime and just seems to be Pointless or The Chase in primetime. When it first came onto freeview the varied schedule was great of all the old gameshows and would have had it on a few times a week, now it just seems to be the odd episode of Bullseye or if there is nothing on at the weekend which is a shame.
They have Blankety Blank on weekend afternoons.

It is from 1998. When will it show the 1994-1997 era. It is the only part that has never been shown.

They have recently aired some of Terry Wogan's and Les Dawson's in the past year.
