Mike even got a special message from Led Zeppelin's Robert Plant before he signed-off for the final time:

Nice long, lingering outro for Mike. Cheerio Mike!

I love that outro music.
Yet another of the remaining old school greats gone. Sad times.

Fantastic they gave Mike the full outtro music, well done Mike and happy retirement!
Edit: My timer recording failed, sorry :-(

A class act. So many make their farewells an over the top, self-indulgent affair, which is in a way justified, but Mike made even this somehow understated and not about him. Hope he enjoys the retirement.
BTW, I've seen quite a few YT clips of these long outros with Mike, seems to be common overnight.

In the "Coming Up" segment before the commercial break during the 3 am UK and 4 am UK editions, Mike's interview with Gene Simmons (of Kiss) was captioned as "Simmons V Embley". Mike Embley had to clarify that he was not duelling with Gene Simmons before conducting a live interview during a latter half of the 3 am UK edition.

There's also the argument that the UK overnight NC & World simulcast should be used as a training ground for future talent. I remember watching Martine Croxall and Karin Giannone on the N24 & World overnight simulcasts in the mid-late 2000s, both of course are now daytime anchors on the NC and World news.
Sad that Mike is leaving though and a big loss none the less.
Martin Kelner is in his 70s and doing weekend overnights on TalkSport.

I don’t suppose anyone has uploaded it in higher quality, rather then the pixelated mess of Twitter?

Hopefully someone has a decent recording of the final signoff.

Some edited HD clips of the last interviews, from the bits I managed to record:

A well earned retirement, but sad to see Mike go.
