I would guess coming up on 15/16 years now? They were at one point Channel 9 Dunedin, now they're 39.
They seem to use it for everything from a weekly news roundup to daily bulletins, not sure if the clips in the titles have changed at all in that time.

Unlike many of the others, which look oddly proportioned (the GMB and CBSTM ones specifically), this just looks like a region has gone slightly native and built the set in front of their gallery and changed some surfaces to a more glossy material.
Titles on the other hand, meh.
Must admit I prefer the copycat set to the original.

The titles for Puls 4 News (Austria) from 2008 are blatantly ripped off from ABC News Australia 2005.
Oh my Lordy I love you. I just went thru this thread and was going to post about the time I made bbc news mocks in 2006/7 and posted them on tv forum and these straps were exactly the same however the purple strip in my mock was red. I’ve tried for years to find it to reference it and also the host in the video I came across had the same name as my sister. Cheers

The belarusian staion Беларусь 1 has copied other channel´s graphics several times:
In 2000 they have copied the BBC News graphics, in 2006 they copied Sky News, in 2011 they took inspiration from DW and the 2014 intro is very similar to the intro N24 (now called Welt) used back then.

That piece of music is actually production music. It can be found on a production CD with a number of cuts. In that regard, anyone with access to the production music and who wishes to then pay for the use of said piece of music is within their rights to do so. Just because we in the UK know this piece of music as ITV News doesn't mean that it can't be used by other broadcasters around the world - particularly when ITV News was never (as far as I'm aware) broadcast to an international market.

Yeah, makes sense. I actually already knew that the theme was stock music. You're also right that ITV News never really aired worldwide, although had they kept ITN World News as ITV World News, it could have indeed been somewhat a knockoff.

IMO I think it would have been a bit more excusable if it hadn't been for the fact that most of the footage is the actual ITV News intro, even if the concept was still stolen.
