The private equity takeover of Euronews has been signed off today by the French Government. The deal means we should now start to see some changes at the channel, which has been flagging a little in recent times. Some strong names have been signed up for management roles including former journalists from channels including LCI and BFM. Excited to see how things develop. Change is needed!

I just hope that they revert this ASAP https://www.broadbandtvnews.com/2017/05/...-channels/
Feels like it is forever being sold. I wonder too how independent of each other those 12 video feeds are now or whether a few are basically the same stream in different languages.
Doesn't feel like 5 minutes like NBC Universal bought it and had "big plans"... then just as quickly sold it off again.
