Out of curiosity more than anything else does anyone have any memories of watching the MAC stations such as TV1000 and TV3?. I know that the former was popular in the UK for showing (ahem) adult material albeit using (ahem) non-sanctioned technology but when we got Sky in the early 1990’s the scrambled signals intrigued me.

Filmnet was another Scandinavian channel that people said they also watched with a decoder.
