Well I've tuned in half way through and it fails the tuning in half way through and making sense test. The concept is supposedly about playing for the 1 and 6 zeros for a possible £1m, knocking off a zero for each incorrect answer. However somehow they're now playing for £500k - so a 5 and 5 zeroes, which isn't what it says on the tin.

It is also incredibly dull.

Why on earth is the Sydney opera house in the background of the set, through the fake windows?

I watched the whole thing and it was not to bad, just as long as you a properly watching it and paying full attention, and not half watching while on your phone/cooking dinner/painting your toe nails etc then you would be a bit lost and not following what's going on.

If you pass on a question, they change the £1 for a 50p, so they're playing for the equivilent of 1,000,000x 50p pieces, so £500k.

Which is exactly what I'm doing but not lost, but then again there was another format (forget which one) that was hammered on here for being too complex and I thought it was relatively simple...


Watching on the +1 and it's alright, but I think it suffers not having an audience.

It’s actually the Clyde Auditorium in Glasgow, as the show was filmed at BBC Scotland in Pacific Quay, which it is across the river from.

The Sydney Opera House :lol: That made me laugh. As TVNerd said, the show was filmed in Studio B at PQ last September.

I'm not sure even an audience could have saved this but it undoubtedly suffered from not having one.

The set looks like one you would see on QVC.
